Kudavalai Rice – Rice For All Ages

The Kudavalai rice has ability to provide fast and instant energy, regulate and improve bowel movements, stabilize blood sugar levels, and slow down the aging process, while also providing an essential source of vitamin B1 to the human body, therefore, it is well known as rice for body growth.

The Kudavalai rice is grown on submerged land in the coastal plains, tidal deltas, and river basins of tropical, semitropical, and temperate regions(i.e Tamil Nadu). The seeds are sown in prepared beds, and when the seedlings are 25 to 50 days old, they are transplanted to a field, or paddy, that has been enclosed by levees and submerged under 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches) of water, remaining submerged during the growing season.

1) Good for children (control obesity) – Consumption of this is extremely beneficial for health, simply because it does not contain harmful fats, cholesterol or sodium. It forms an integral part of a balanced diet. The low levels of fat, cholesterol, and sodium also help to reduce obesity and the health conditions associated with being overweight.

2) Contain mineral salt – Kudavalai Rice is an excellent source of mineral salt like niacin, magnesium, calcium, iron, etc. These provide the foundation for body metabolism, immune system health, and general functioning of the organ systems of the body.

3) Prevent pain in the body – Kudavalai rice controls and lowers many types of pain in the body i.e joints pain of bones etc, therefore, it is best for pregnant women to suppress the pain during labor. Also it gives a lot of energy to the body.

This rice contains fats, Sodium, Potassium, the most percentages of Carbohydrates, Dietary Fiber, niacin, magnesium, calcium, iron, Vitamin A,  Vitamin C and Vitamin B-6 Cobalamin.

This rice is best for young as well as old people. This is very rare rice as it cultivation is very limited but this is the best rice has nutrition and health benefits more than any rice. This rice is used in making dhal idli, dosa, and other breakfast items.
