Bothra International’s specialty for long has been in the manufacture of products for daily utility as well as those for gifting. The products, using metal sheets, carved with traditional Rajasthani motifs, over wood have a sublime beauty and have been revived by Bothra’s talented craftsmen. Such items were manufactured in the past, but forgotten for decades.
Buyers from East European and Middle East nations have a fascination for such products though styles and motifs preferred in these two markets are different. In recent
times, buyers from Spain and South Africa have shown interest in such products and there is no dearth of designs since Jodhpur is like a large repository – almost inexhaustible – of Rajasthani folk arts. Though Bothra’s craftsmen borrow such motifs liberally, small alterations are made to meet the preferences of buyers.
The company has recently entered the furniture segment and the designs adopted are contemporary ones. These are preferred by European buyers. Bothra is also planning to enter customized furniture manufacturing. Among its other products are frames for paintings and photographs that have the looks and style of a bygone era.
