Organic Spices- Fresh and Natural

Share post:

Organic Spices are organic products which are produced without the help of artificial chemical fertilizers. They are grown in a soil without the use of artificial pesticides and fertilizers.

Organic spices are free from artificial pesticides and hazardous chemicals. The soil in which they grow is also free from pesticides. Instead, the fertilizers used are natural fertilizers like compost and manure. They are also not post-processed by man-made techniques to make them shinier and more attractive. They do not undergo radiation. The result is a 100% natural product or in other words, organic.

Natural techniques are used in the place of artificial pesticides to protect the crops from insects and pests. These techniques include using birds, predatory insects, organic pesticides, crop rotation, etc and many other techniques.

Organic spices contain no artificial pesticides, fertilizers, radiations, etc. So they are fresher than normal spices. As a result, they last longer. They are free from harmful chemicals. Organic farming is also beneficial for the soil because the techniques used for farming generates less pollution, reduces erosion of the soil and leaves no harmful effects on the soil.

The demand for organic spices and other organic products have increased on a large scale. As a result, the import and production have increased too. Consumers are slowly realizing the benefits of organic products over locally grown products.

Organic farming is increasing in Asian countries like India, China, Japan, Sri Lanka and other countries in Europe and America too. In the USA, sales from organic spices and products have increased on a large scale. Thus many farmers are adopting the technique of organic farming.

Organic spices are readily available online and also at local grocery stores and supermarket chains. There are special health food stores which sell organic products. You can also buy organic spices from swadesi. Swadesi sells high quality, unadulterated organic products which are sourced from different parts of India.
