The Baoli is a unique blend of architecture with an impressive design known to have existed centuries ago.

The stone walls of the Baoli with inventive designs and arched structure are grim and desolate but still beautiful. The old brick walls of the structure take you back to the history as you go down and as you go down more, you can even experience a drop in the temperature.

When we talk about such a monument, which is not known, it becomes our duty to protect and preserve it, for it defines the culture of our country. Though it is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India, the government is planning to demolish it for other purposes.

Now the reason being is that it is not a very visited monument and is also considered to be a haunted place due to an old superstitious belief that many people had committed suicide here.

Whatever may be the reason, till date there is no evidence of a person being harmed due to this Baoli. Therefore this enigmatic Baoli is to be protected for it portrays the rich heritage of our country and can be maintained or preserved not for its historicity but with the tales revolving around it!
