When we talk about such a monument, which is not known, it becomes our duty to protect and preserve it, for it defines the culture of our country. Though it is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India, the government is planning to demolish it for other purposes.

Now the reason being is that it is not a very visited monument and is also considered to be a haunted place due to an old superstitious belief that many people had committed suicide here.

Whatever may be the reason, till date there is no evidence of a person being harmed due to this Baoli. Therefore this enigmatic Baoli is to be protected for it portrays the rich heritage of our country and can be maintained or preserved not for its historicity but with the tales revolving around it!
