Eco Cave Gardens located in Sukhtal is a newly developed tourist stop. The maintenance work of the garden is undertaken by the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, organization. A network of interconnected rocky caves and gardens leads the visitor to a paradise tucked away from the noise of the city. In the recent years, it has become one of the hottest travel destinations in the country.

The gardens comprise of six caves that are named in accordance with the animal form they resemble. The visitors have to enter the cave from one end and navigate towards the exit. The journey towards the end is exciting and will unleash your inner adventurer spirits.
The faint light emitted by the petroleum lamps is the only source of light inside the cave. The eerie glow radiated by the lamps initiates the adrenaline rush and the much-needed thrill for this venture.
Among the caves, the Tiger cave is the easiest to enter and come out, whereas it requires great agility to find the way out of the Panther cave. There is also a musical fountain beside the cave which is only operational in the best season.
The place has lots of fun activities organized for the children to participate. It can also be thought as an educational tour to familiarize them with the flora and fauna of the region.
The hanging gardens located nearby offers the best visual experience. It is an ideal spot for the whole family to relax and bask in the panoramic view of the natural peaks and cliffs surrounding the beautiful town.

The tickets are priced at Rs.20/- for adults, Rs.10/- for children and carrying videography equipment levy an additional charge of Rs.25/-. The cave gardens are easily approachable by road located near to Kumaon University campus and the famous mall Road on Kaldungi road.
