Guru Industries is, perhaps, the oldest furniture manufacturer in Jodhpur. Established in 1947, it has marched on, never looking back. The focus on exports is only a recent 
phenomenon in its history. The company has furnished a few of the well-known, branded hotels in the country though its production, almost 90 percent, goes to the United States
of America and the rest to European countries.
Today, the company is into high-end design furniture for the USA and European markets. The main pieces are complimented by equally matching accessories, admittedly for high-end buyers. It is paying as much attention to decorative and gift products created from wood, metals, glass and even bones and horns.
The decorative and utility products are also unique and innovative in design like coat hangers fabricated out of skis. There are candle holders using moose horns as the base. The company also believes that no design would last more than one season and hence the stress on innovation.
