Balloon modelling and balloon twisting is an art to shape the given balloon into any shape. This art is not soo old. A Balloon can be twisted in different shapes like- cat, dog, dragon, flower and many more. These shapes can be given by a single or multiple balloons.
The person who performs this type of art is known as ”Twisters”, “balloon benders”, “balloon artists”. They majorly show their art in different functions like house parties, different shows, weeding, and other places.

Balloon Twisting :
Mainly this art’s origin is unknown. The 1975 book by “Jolly the Clown” at a magician’s convention in 1939 “as being the first balloon twister”.
Balloon Twisting can be performed in multiple ways, by using only one balloon or by using multiple balloons, result in making of lots of different shapes and characters like- Dog, Cat, Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, Owl, flowers, masks, rabbit, motorbikes, lion, turtle, butterfly, helicopter and many more. Depending upon the need of the situation they can move balloons to multiple approaches.
Some twisters inflate their balloon with their own lungs and some others use an electric pump, hand pump or foot pump. The technique used for twisting balloons is also called “weaving”, “stuffing”. Twisters do not generally fill their balloon with helium, as these designs will not float anyway. The balloon for twisting is too porous for helium and designs are generally too heavy for their size for helium to lift.
